Covenant Adult Programs

We offer a variety of Adult Church programs at Covenant Presbyterian Church, including Bible studies, small groups, men's and women's ministries, and more. Our programs are designed to help you deepen your faith, build strong relationships, and make a positive impact in our community. We invite you to explore our programs and find the right fit for you.

Weekly Events for Adults

  • RightNow Media Study meets after Worship Service in the church Library.

    Facilitated by Mary Coulter (click for email)

    This small group is for those who want to explore various biblical topics and people using a discussion format with RightNow Media study videos. 

     

    Simply Scripture meets after Worship Service in Couch Room.

    Facilitated by Kari Mayer and Sue Ledbetter

    This small group is for those who want to establish a Bible reading habit, want to learn to read the Bible, or want to learn to read the Bible for transformation.

  • @Home or Out Dinner Group gathers the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Location varies.

    Facilitated by Linda MacGorman

    This small group is for those who want to enjoy fellowshipping in homes or trying out different restaurants. Please contact the facilitator to get plugged in!

  • WISE Women Bible study meets from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Room 16.

    This small group is for women who want to do Bible studies using published Study Guides with homework (purchased by participants). Each week, we discuss the homework and watch the video. Most of these studies are between 7 and 10 weeks in length.

     

    Craft Guild meets from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Craft Guild room.

    Facilitated by Fae Bergmann and Dixie Ketchelmeier. 

    This small group is perfect for women who want to craft while at the same time socialize with other Covenant women. If you like to craft and if you like to visit, come to Craft Guild.

  • @Home Game Night gathers in group members’ homes the third Wednesday of the month at 6 p.m.

    Facilitated by Jana Shetler.

    Like to play board or card games or other types of games? Want to get to know some of your church family? This small group is for you! Please contact the facilitator to get plugged in!

  • Table Talk study meets from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Room 16.

    Facilitated by Kim Thomas

    This small group is for those who want an in-depth, verse-by-verse study that helps the reader better understand God’s work in redemption and how it applies to the life of God’s people.

     

    It’s Lunch Time! Gathers mid-afternoon the fourth Thursday of the month (exact time and place varies).

    Want to try out some different places for lunch and get to know your church family in a more intimate setting? This small group is for you! Please contact the facilitator to get plugged in!

  • Friday Small Group meets on Friday afternoons at 1 p.m. for 60 to 90 minutes in the church Library.

    Facilitated by Randall Griffith and others. 

    This small group is for those who want guided discussion of what Scripture says: what it means to the world, to Christians as a group, and to us individually. We will be using RightNow Media studies and videos. Covenant members and friends are welcome. One Friday per month may be dedicated to fellowship—group luncheon or other activity.
