who we are
Daniel has been part of Covenant since 2021. Daniel started off in ministry by working at camp, spent 11 years as a youth pastor in Florida, 2 as a middle school math teacher, a 18 months as an associate pastor in Shanghai China, and worked for a church plant in Washington. He has a heart for those who are willing to wrestle with their faith. Daniel has developed a passion for serving refugees and orphans. He has been married to his wife Tiffany since 2005, and has 3 young sons.
Transitional Music Director
Dave Myers was born and raised in Southwest Missouri. From a preschool age, he was singing and singing out loud and strong. He has video evidence! He has sung in collegiate chorales and community choirs, and even had the opportunity to sing a solo at Carnegie Hall backed by a multi-national choir of over 150 people. He has almost four years in choral/instrumental music education from Missouri State University. Dave also plays trumpet, piano, hand drums, and is currently learning guitar. For seven years, he led the music at 1st Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Springfield, MO. He and his wife Lizzie were married on April 15th of 2022 (Redeeming Tax Day) and have four children, Greyson, Ethan, Oak, and Tobias.
Family Ministries Director
Tiffany has spent her entire life in family ministry – being a pastor’s kid herself, working at summer camps, leading middle school and high school ministries, serving hundreds of littles as an early childhood coordinator, doing life with families in Shanghai China, and just thriving at home with her 3 high energy boys. She has a doctorate in Ministry to Emerging Generations and longs to see families grow together in faith.
Kayla (pictured at left with her grandma) is a Camden, New Jersey native. She moved to Springfield three years ago to attend Missouri State University where she will obtain her degree in Finance. Kayla has an extensive background working in children’s ministry and international missions. As she is still trying to find her career path, Kayla knows that she has been called to be a faithful servant of the Lord and looks forward to serving the members of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Kayla would like everyone to know that she LOVES coffee!
